Being beautiful is being comfortable in your own skin. Here at Charmed Skin, I aim to treat and heal your skin the way it deserves, to help you feel beautiful inside and out.

Charmed Skin offers a variety of skin treatments to choose from. Each treatment is customized to your own skin type and performed by skin expert esthetician Amie Orpin. All facials, except aggressive peels, are customized with the amazing benefits of dōTERRA Essential Oils. These powerful oils can address many needs from acne, inflammation, to stress and allergies.

Multiple product lines are used to make sure that your skin receives the most optimal benefits. Please view my Product Lines page for a list of the best of the best.

Waxing

I use Nufree wax (soy wax) for all waxing treatments, which is gentle and suitable for all skin types. Unlike traditional wax, Nufree does not adhere to the skin. It adheres to the oils in the hair only, which makes it less stressful to the skin and does not leave the "stinging" feeling after hair removal.

DEEP SEA HERBAL PEEL*

This peel is a natural alternative to a chemical peel but highly effective and the depth of the peel can be controlled by the esthetician. This can be used on all skin types and has amazing results! Function: reduction of the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, reduces discoloration and pigmentation, reduces appearance of scars, decreased sebum production, improvement of congested pores and acne, and improvement of skin texture. Ideal for: mature skin, oily skin, dull skin, and hyperpigmentation.

*All peels require up to 7 days of down time. Peels are not recommended during the summer time and I strongly advise against sun exposure during the peel process. These peels can be very aggressive but will leave your skin feeling absolutely beautiful and renewed. These peels address acne, clogged pores, oily skin, pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and scars.

A semi-permanent technique that punctures the skin with a needle to deposit color, leaving a beautiful powdered look when healed.

MICROSHADING 411

Microshading (also known as Ombré Brows/Shaded Brows) is a semi-permanent make-up procedure, where through the manual process of inserting pigment into the top layers of skin
The procedure is a two step process. The initial session will take approximately 2 hours and about an hour for the touch-up (4-6 weeks later)
I create the desired fullness and design of the eyebrows. The brows will be drawn on and measured before the procedure starts, to achieve the look that is desired by you
A numbing cream is used to make sure you are comfortable, but honestly, it does not hurt at all :)
This technique differs from Microblading in that I create a misty, powder filled brow resembling the look of makeup application, or a fresh eyebrow tint
Brows will be dark for the first week while they are healing. They will also flake off and scab for up to 7 days. I don’t recommend attending any special events or being in direct sunlight for the week they are healing. Also, do not submerge your face in the ocean or pool during the 7 days
They are semi-permanent, in that most fade over time if no additional procedure is performed
